Largo is a beta. This page says plainly what happens to your data.
MusicXML files
Processed entirely in your browser. They are not uploaded and not stored by us.
PDF and image files
Only when you press “Read this score”, the file is sent to our server and forwarded to the Flat optical-music-recognition service to be converted to MusicXML. After the result is returned, Largo asks the service to erase the files. We do not keep a copy. Flat’s own terms apply to its processing.
What we store
- Early-access list: the email, role and note you type. Never published or sold. You can ask to be removed by emailing us.
- Beta usage limits: a keyed hash of your network address and of your email, with a page count, so that free PDF reading cannot be abused. These cannot be turned back into your address or email without our secret key.
- Reader profile: saved only in your browser’s local storage, or in a link or file you create yourself.
No tracking
No advertising, no analytics cookies, no third-party trackers.
